These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Flick mobile application, website (flick-entertainment.com), and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Flick Entertainment LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using Flick, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Flick is a social movie and TV show tracking platform that allows users to catalog, rank, review, and discuss movies and television shows, as well as interact with friends.
2. Account Registration & Security
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Flick.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3. User Content & Conduct
- Ownership: You retain ownership of any ratings, reviews, lists, or comments ("User Content") you post on Flick. However, by posting, you grant Flick Entertainment LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and format your content within the Service.
- Community Standards: You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or infringing on third-party intellectual property.
- Safety Controls: Flick provides in-app safety tools allowing users to mute, block, or report other users and inappropriate content. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
The Flick app name, logo, design, software code, and interface are the exclusive property of Flick Entertainment LLC. Movie and TV metadata, images, and poster art displayed on the app are provided via third-party APIs and public metadata providers and remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time within the app settings.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Flick Entertainment LLC makes no warranties regarding reliability or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flick Entertainment LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
